What about the "D" Word?

Divorce can be both a difficult and controversial topic to address, particularly among Christians.  However, when you are a woman on a mission for Christ, I believe that one of the first places that Satan uses to attack your credibility, your perceived level of maturity, and even your genuine love for Christ is your performance in the area of attracting, acquiring, and managing the most important earthly relationship of a woman's life.
I'm referring to marriage of course. I describe it that way because according to the Bible the first woman was created in response to the loneliness of Adam. Women were thought of and purposed to give help and comfort to a man.  That is the reason why women are so often measured and even judged by society mainly by their performance in the area of marriage.
Our Bible study group enjoyed a great and enlightening, not to mention uplifting discussion about Love and Marriage a couple of weeks ago.
The objective is to educate the women of God with an understanding of what God say about love, marriage, being a good wife, and about divorce, so it can govern our choices in an effort to make wise decisions that minimize the grief, pain, and disappointment that can arise as a result of failed marriages.  All of those are things which can distract and delay your purpose for God.  If you want to stay strong in order to stay focused for your mission for Christ, join us and be strengthened in this sometimes challenging area of life.
